Chinese Tea
--
A Poem by Santosh Akhilesh
Sinensis leaves dropping on seething water oozing mesmerising aroma.
The sun shone bright on tea house,
like a beauty coming out from scented sauna.
Tucked away in garden of heavens;
taking small sips of this scented allure.
Crimson cup of tea magically banishing the fatigue and frustration of never ending shore.
As the leaves brew leaving behind the nectar of tranquil.
Every drop taking me closer to a meditating zen on a monastic pew.
In the backdrop of soothing “Han” music,
couplets spreading the wisdom of lore.
With every pour, spirits soaring up and up into a sublime aesthetic galore.
As I savoir my last sip of,
melting glee.
I fell in love with the,
Chinese Tea.
This poem is inspired by my visit to a Chinese Traditional Tea House with my friends in Shenzhen China, where I visited umpteen times while working in Huawei Technologies as Software Engineer and an Architect.
China has a big culture of traditional music and Chinese Tea and It’s worth experience both.
I was able to experience these and more in turn made some life time friends and met some amazing people and visited some amazing places and tasted one of the best oriental culinary while working, enjoying and exploring together at Huawei and it’s lovely people.
